I am a sworn translator of English – included on the list of sworn translators of the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Poland – with many years’ experience. I graduated from the Department of Foreign Trade of Warsaw School of Economics and from the English Institute at the University of Warsaw (in both cases I obtained a Master’s degree). I additionally pursued postgraduate studies in the field of court and economic translation at the Department of Applied Linguistics of the University of Warsaw. I was working as an in-house translator for large and well known American law firms: White & Case Poland, Weil Gotshal & Manges and a Polish law firm: Wierzbowski i Wspólnicy (a law firm providing legal services to PricewaterhouseCoopers for many years), an accounting office which was also involved in auditing financial statements, and as an English teacher at the University of Warsaw and ran courses in specialist legal English for lawyers and law students for an English school in Warsaw.
I have been running my own business since 2002 and I am still co-operating with numerous law firms and notarial offices, translation agencies, investment funds, real estate agencies and other companies. I also provide services for individuals (translating among others, official documents, documents needed for vehicle registration, divorce decrees, last wills and testaments, school certificates, degree certificates and other such legal documentation). I am also involved in notarial activities and pre-marital formalities (at the Registry Office and also in court) as well as in the official acknowledgement of paternity taking place in Warsaw.
I provide services in the Warsaw district of Ursynów.
